Hey there! I'm a recent graduate of the Software Engineering bootcamp at BrainStation. Picture this: I've traded in my conductor's baton for a keyboard and mouse, making the jump from Director of Music to coding maestro!

My career pivot showcases adaptability and a love for lifelong learning. As a former teacher, my forte lies in soft skills: communication, teamwork, and problem-solving.

YouChoose

Welcome to YouChoose - the film selection app you didn’t know you needed! Two users with linked accounts are shown the same films. Users are able to swipe on films they want to watch, and if both users swipe right on a film, they get a 'match' and that film is put in their matches page. This app aims to stop endless scrolling when deciding what film to watch, and instead use YouChoose to find films both users are interested in watching.

🎤 Concert Conductor: Orchestrated the school's captivating concert series, ensuring memorable and successful musical events.

👥 Form Tutor: Served as a dedicated form tutor for a Year 7 class, acting as the first point of contact for pastoral issues. Built strong relationships with both the students and their parents, fostering a supportive and nurturing environment.

🎭 Musical Director: Conducted three school musicals, managing a large group of students and teachers. Conducted the show for three evening performances in front of key stakeholders, parents, staff, and students.
